Align Your Centers of Thought and Your Beliefs

Would you like to awaken inner resources?

Is your body sending you signals?

Do you want to begin an innovative and transformative personal growth journey?

If these questions resonate with you, know that you are not alone. We live in a system that increasingly takes us away from who we truly are, causing us to lose touch with the deeper meaning of our existence and our potential. It is not uncommon to discover that we have lost connection with our Personal Energy and Innate Intelligence — those inner forces that know exactly what is right for us and what is not, and that govern body, mind, and emotions.

According to the Ipsos Global Happiness Report 2023, the two main factors for happiness are:

  1. Feeling that your life has meaning.
  2. Feeling in control of your life.

Do you recognize yourself in these criteria? Does your daily life reflect these principles?

The good news is that the solution is already within you.
If you decide not to be dragged along any longer by circumstances or external influences, you have the power to improve your life.

Neuro Emotional Facilitation™ (NEF™) offers you personal growth tools to align your centers of bodily intelligence with your inner energy, helping you direct all that you are toward what you truly want.

It is not magic — it is awareness.
It is a step toward creating a happier, more authentic, and more fulfilling life.

What Is Neuro Emotional Facilitation™ (NEF™)?

What Is Neuro Emotional Facilitation™ (NEF™) For?

Neuro Emotional Facilitation™ (NEF™) is an experiential method that helps integrate head, heart, and gut in order to increase clarity, coherence, and direction. It helps you build a more stable capacity to choose and act in the moments that matter.

Help strengthen confidence and centeredness.

Make decisions that are more aligned with your values and priorities.

Access resources that you currently use too little.

Overcome recurring patterns of self-sabotage.

Manage complex or stressful situations more effectively.

Align with your goals more consistently.

Why Choose NEF™?

Neuro Emotional Facilitation© is not just a technique: it is an experiential path that accompanies you toward a more coherent and functional version of yourself. Whether you want to improve your communication, achieve specific goals, develop greater mastery of your energy and presence, or live with more awareness, NEF™ offers practical tools to begin doing so.

NEURO: ATTENTION, HABITS, AND AUTOMATIC RESPONSES

The way we act under pressure, make choices, react, and remain consistent is also shaped by habits and automatic responses that we have reinforced over time. With NEF™, we work to:

  • Recognize recurring patterns and beliefs that move you away from your goals.
  • Activate personal resources you already possess and use them more consistently.
  • Train new ways of responding that support more effective habits and more conscious choices.

EMOTIONAL: AWARENESS AND RELATIONSHIP WITH WHAT YOU FEEL

Emotions influence focus, decision-making, and the quality of relationships. With NEF™, you have the opportunity to:

  • Give space to what you feel in a more conscious way, without judgment and without forcing it.
  • Listen to inner signals, needs, and motivations, in order to understand what truly matters to you and choose in a more aligned way.

FACILITATION: THE ROLE OF THE FACILITATOR

To facilitate means to make something possible and easier: to support, cooperate, and create the conditions for you to gain clarity and move forward. In NEF™, the Facilitator is not a “guru,” nor do they decide for you. They are an ally who supports you on your growth path.

N.E.F.™: WORKING WITH THE 3 CENTERS OF INTELLIGENCE

Did you know that human experience can be understood as the contribution of three centers of Intelligence, each with distinct and complementary functions?

  • The empathy and connection of the Heart (cardiac brain).
  • The logic and strategic analysis of the Mind (cranial brain).
  • The instinct, grounding, and drive to act of the Gut (enteric brain).

According to the Three Brains model and Three Brains Intelligence™(of which I am a Certified Coach), these “three brains” influence how we interpret what happens, make decisions, and move through relationships and goals. Integrating these centers can help you make more conscious choices, live with greater coherence, and support the results you want.

What Are the Three Brains?

1. THE CRANIAL BRAIN (HEAD BRAIN)

The cranial brain is the main organ of the central nervous system, made up of more than 100 billion neurons in constant activity. It is the seat of logical, rational, and analytical thinking. Thanks to it, we are able to organize, plan, and anticipate events.

However, when the cranial brain dominates, we risk becoming overly cerebral: emotionally detached, hyper-analytical, and less connected to our intuition and emotions.

Have you ever thought, “My head just can’t take it anymore”?
This may be a sign that your cranial brain is overloaded and needs more balance.

2. THE CARDIAC BRAIN (HEART BRAIN)

The heart has such a sophisticated neural network that it can be considered a true brain in its own right. It contains neurons, neurotransmitters, and proteins, and functions independently of the cranial brain.

According to Three Brains Intelligence©™, it is the center of empathy, love, courage, and connection with others. When it is dominant, we may end up constantly putting others first and neglecting ourselves. When it is silent, on the other hand, we may feel isolated and disconnected.

Have you ever said, “I want to hear what my heart is telling me”?
This may be the moment when your cardiac brain is asking to be heard.

3. THE ENTERIC BRAIN (GUT BRAIN)

With 500 million neurons, the enteric brain is considered part of the peripheral nervous system and is a true chemical and neurohormonal storehouse. It governs survival, personal success, and prosperity.

It is responsible for that gut feeling you experience when you are uncertain about a choice — that is your enteric brain speaking.

Have you ever felt, “I’ve got a gut feeling”?
This may be a sign that your enteric brain is trying to guide you.

Why Is Balance Between the Three Brains Important?

The language we use every day “gives away” the presence of these three centers of intelligence. Expressions such as “My head just can’t take it anymore,” “I want to hear what my heart is telling me,” or “I’ve got a gut feeling” reveal how active and influential they are in our lives.

Unfortunately, because of emotional experiences and the stress of daily life, these balances can become altered. One brain may become dominant, taking over and leading to excess, or silent, leaving us disconnected from essential parts of ourselves.

  • Dominant brain: it prevails over the others, leading to unbalanced behaviors.
  • Silent brain: it is ignored, depriving us of valuable intuition and energy.

NEF™ Exercise: What Are Your Beliefs?

To discover which beliefs are guiding your life, try this exercise:

1.Observe your life: Picture your daily life as if you were an invisible observer. Look carefully at how you act, what you say, and how you respond to                              situations.

      2. Ask yourself key questions:

    • What do you answer when someone asks how you are? What would your truest answer be?
    • In life, are you doing the things you truly want to do?
    • What do you deeply think about your life as it is right now?
    • What is your inner language? What do you say to yourself every day?

     3. Analyze with impartiality: What do your actions and your answers reveal about your deeper beliefs?

Example: If you tend to avoid challenges or often say, “I’ll never make it,” you may be carrying a disempowering belief connected to your self-esteem or your abilities.

Why Work on Subconscious Beliefs?

“You cannot live beyond the limit set by the subconscious opinion you hold of yourself. If you want to live better or reach a goal, you cannot leave that opinion trapped in your body and mind.”

Subconscious beliefs are like software that governs your behavior. If you do not change them, you may continue repeating the same patterns, even if you consciously want to change.

Neuro Emotional Facilitation™ (NEF™) can help you:

  • Recognize the disempowering beliefs that limit you.
  • Begin transforming them into empowering beliefs that support your goals.
  • Train your body and mind for a more authentic and fulfilling life.

N.E.F.™ and Guided Visualizations

Mental Training and Self-Help for Focus, Presence, and Performance

“To dream is to abstract yourself; to visualize is to act on yourself.”

Guided visualizations are one of the most effective mental training and self-help techniques for training concentration, centeredness, and direction. In simple terms: you create a clear and functional mental scenario, repeat it methodically, and make your focus more stable when pressure rises — in competition, at work, or during important decisions.

Within Neuro Emotional Facilitation™ (NEF™), guided visualizations become a structured training practice for integrating head, heart, and gut — the 3 centers of intelligence — and bringing coherence between thought, intention, and action.

What Are Guided Visualizations?

Guided visualizations are a practice of active imagination plus breathing that helps you:

  • increase focus and mental clarity,
  • regain calm and centeredness in critical moments,
  • prepare for a performance, whether athletic or professional,
  • strengthen a pre-competition or pre-event routine,
  • improve consistency, precision, and quality of action.

From a NEF™ perspective, visualization is not “fantasy”: it is repeatable mental training that is practical and measurable over time — more presence, fewer distractions, and greater fluidity.

How Do They Work?

When you visualize a scenario with detail and intention, you train your mind to:

  • stay on the task instead of on outside judgment,
  • recognize and manage distractions such as audience, outcome, or expectations,
  • enter more easily into the state that supports effective performance.

In other words, guided visualization is a kind of “simulator” for training attention, timing, and decision-making, so you can be more stable when it truly matters.

Main Applications (sport, work, life)

Sport performance

  • pre-competition routines, centeredness, pressure management, technical execution, precision.

Professional performance

  • presentations, interviews, negotiations, leadership, complex decisions.

Self-help and personal growth

  • direction, motivation, consistency, confidence, and coherence with goals and values.

Practical Exercise: A Guided Visualization

Try this simple guided visualization to begin experiencing the power of this technique:

  1. Find a quiet place: Sit or lie down in a comfortable position.
  2. Close your eyes and breathe deeply: Focus on your breath, letting go of as much tension as you can.
  3. Visualize a desired goal or scenario: Imagine, in as much detail as possible, what you want to achieve or experience.
  4. Engage all your senses: What do you see? What do you hear? What do you notice through touch, smell, and taste?
  5. Feel the positive emotions: Imagine the joy, satisfaction, and gratitude you would feel in achieving this goal.
  6. Repeat: Spend a few minutes each day on this practice to reinforce its effect.

7 Good Reasons Not to Do NEF™

Nothing is perfect for everyone, and each person has to understand what fits them best. These are some reasons why NEF™ might not be the right path if you:

  • are not willing to work on yourself directly.
  • are looking for a magic-wand effect.
  • do not share the idea that your personal growth can affect your existential reality.
  • believe mind and body are separate entities to be addressed separately.
  • see NEF™ as a substitute for medical or psychological care, rather than as a process of inner growth.
  • do not want to step into your role as responsible for your own life.
  • NEF™ seems too “alternative” to you.

Remember:
Neuro Emotional Facilitation™ (NEF™) is not a therapy and does not belong to the medical or psychological field. It is a methodology that belongs within personal growth, human potential development, and self-improvement.

NEF™ does not replace and should not be understood as a method of diagnosis, medical therapy, or psychological therapy, nor as an alternative to treatment pathways or specialist care. Rather, it is a cross-disciplinary method that works with the person as a whole, facilitating processes of awareness, inner balance, and improvement of Being in its highest and broadest sense.
